Why do I Blog?

Life is so fast & furious with 3 young children, working from home, ect that I fear I will forget the lovely details of my girls' precious childhood.

My main motivation for blogging is to capture the every day moments...so I don't forget them before I have a chance to scrapbook. Sharing with you is just an added bonus. Keeping this blog has helped me get the photos off my camera's memory card and label/organize them on my laptop. It is the BEST tool I have for scrapbooking. I haven't ever been able to keep a journal, but this I can do. I don't pretend to have anything interesting to say. In fact I'm sure this little blog is boring to you, but to me it is priceless!

2 Morning Muse

This morning Nate's oldest brother, Brook, came over during breakfast to conference with Nate regarding tractors, trailers, and trucks. I think our 'equipment' list is going to grow this week. Sigh- I don't have much of a stomach for this self-employed thing.

While here, Brook was Kylie's hero when he put her jacket and shoes on over her PJs. Kylie always gets anxious when Allie is getting ready for preschool. I think she can tell she is going to be left behind. She doesn't throw a fit when Allie leaves, but she tried to get ready to go, just in case. When Allie left, Kylie snuggled right up to Brook and gave him lots of love. He is her type! Kylie prefers the strong farmers, like her Grandpas Eldon & Paul.

After preschool Rayden came over to "play puzzle" with Allie. She picked this Strawberry Shortcake 36-piece one out at the dollar store yesterday. It is a bit beyond her now, but she loves it. After a few minutes the 'game' degenerated to pushing each other around in the rolling dinning chairs. At least it is clean, right Hanne?
(yesterday Ray & Allie nearly flooded a few of the Sorensen's rooms during their little tea party)

Rolling chairs work! When they are here sometimes they pull each other around the upstairs on blankets. The kids love it especially after I have polished the floor. Ray loves puzzles and has a bunch here at home but he has them all memorized so they aren't much of a challenge anymore. He sure does look like he is concentrating on that one though!
