Why do I Blog?

Life is so fast & furious with 3 young children, working from home, ect that I fear I will forget the lovely details of my girls' precious childhood.

My main motivation for blogging is to capture the every day moments...so I don't forget them before I have a chance to scrapbook. Sharing with you is just an added bonus. Keeping this blog has helped me get the photos off my camera's memory card and label/organize them on my laptop. It is the BEST tool I have for scrapbooking. I haven't ever been able to keep a journal, but this I can do. I don't pretend to have anything interesting to say. In fact I'm sure this little blog is boring to you, but to me it is priceless!

1 Allie draws her 1st person

Last night I put poor nap-less Kylie to bed early and had some real one-on-one time with Allie while Nate was at the USU-BYU football game with his brother Troy. The past few days Allie has been starting to draw different letter of the alphabet. Tonight she attempted a person for the first time and I have to say it was quite good, especially for a 3 yr-old. I think this one was of her Daddy.

On the topic of growing up, Kylie is making strides in the communication department. She is now using the sign for 'more' (toughing her pointer finger to the opposite palm) when she wants more food at meal time. Then last night, while in the highchair, she was reaching and screeching for something. Then she looked right at Nate and said. 'a-nana, A-NA-NA!' Pure delighted lit up her face when he handed her a banana. So other than 'momma', 'dadda', 'kitty-kitty-kitty', and 'tick-a-tick-a-tick-a' that was her first word.
