Why do I Blog?

Life is so fast & furious with 3 young children, working from home, ect that I fear I will forget the lovely details of my girls' precious childhood.

My main motivation for blogging is to capture the every day moments...so I don't forget them before I have a chance to scrapbook. Sharing with you is just an added bonus. Keeping this blog has helped me get the photos off my camera's memory card and label/organize them on my laptop. It is the BEST tool I have for scrapbooking. I haven't ever been able to keep a journal, but this I can do. I don't pretend to have anything interesting to say. In fact I'm sure this little blog is boring to you, but to me it is priceless!

0 Fun at Grandma's House

This week we've had fun being together at Grandma's house. Here are a few highlights for Abby & Brent who are missing out.

These "Bill Ding" blocks were made by my Grandpa Henry when I was young. I even helped paint some of them. My sisters and I spent many hours building with the "Bills". It brings back many fond memories of my Grandparents watching my girls play with them.

Grandma Martha is a fabulous story teller. As soon as she picks up a book, the girls are drawn to her.

Kate & Eden have practically lived in the old ballet recital costumes.

Wednesday we kept the girls apart a bit in the morning to give them some breathing room. Allie & Laura had a blast with paints. Allie tells me she painted a cave.

The rain has kept us cooped up, so Wednesday we took the girls to McDonalds so they could play. Laura floored me by eating more than she has all week, combined. The winner at most meals has been Eden, hands down, but Laura out-ate everyone for once.

Can you believe that it SNOWED!!!! Where is our summer?
