Yes, it is HUGE -and- worst is that it FITS, me that is. It will get worst still when baby gets here. Can I just say that the almost 2 years of pregnancy/nursing are terrible, not only on my body image, but in regards to finding clothes (inside and out) that fit and don't look like a granny. There. My rant is done. Go ahead and laugh at the pics. I still do, although the tears are both happy & sad ;)
Why do I Blog?
Life is so fast & furious with 3 young children, working from home, ect that I fear I will forget the lovely details of my girls' precious childhood.
My main motivation for blogging is to capture the every day moments...so I don't forget them before I have a chance to scrapbook. Sharing with you is just an added bonus. Keeping this blog has helped me get the photos off my camera's memory card and label/organize them on my laptop. It is the BEST tool I have for scrapbooking. I haven't ever been able to keep a journal, but this I can do. I don't pretend to have anything interesting to say. In fact I'm sure this little blog is boring to you, but to me it is priceless!

2 Silly Birds
Once again, there are more pics of Kylie. I think I’m realizing now that’s because Allie is spending most of her time with friends, while Kylie still likes to spend time with good old boring mom.
Oh, and notice no jackets but summer clothes!

1 Chore Charts
In an effort to provide some structure to our days now that I’m working at home again, we’ve been using sticker chore-charts. I’ve been amazed at all the things the girls can do and how helpful they are. Working together to do the laundry and dishes has given us more quality time together and I feel like a better mother, too.
The Chores (Revised several times)
- Morning: make bed, get dressed, get hair done
- Dishes: empty/load dish washer
- Laundry: cycle the washer/dryer & sort dry clothes
- Allie-preschool on laptop & Kylie-put away books/art supplies
- Basement: put away tops
- Nap time: go down without a fuss
- Afternoon: put bikes in garage/ pick up all toys
- Bedtime: PJ’s on, clothes in basket, brush teeth
- Night time: go down without a fuss
The Basic Rules
- The girls have about the same list of chores, which are listed with picture icons
- Each day they complete a task, they get to choose a sticker for that square
- Each day they don’t do a task, I draw an “X” on that square
- If the girls do something ‘extra’ chore/task, they get a star sticker
- A start sticker can go on any square with an “X”
