1 Allie’s FIRST dance recital

This past year Allie took dance lessons (ballet, jazz, and tap) form Tueller’s with her good buddy Alyssa. Allie did GREAT and loved being on stage.

Gma JoAnne came with us to watch.

She FINALLY got on for her birthday.
I didn't think she could do it, but once again she proved how coordinated and dedicated she is.

Saturday morning: Daddy took them to Smithfield’s “Health Days” parade

Saturday mid-day: Family goes to the “Health Days Celebration”

The girls got to ride a few rides and we ate fry bread with honey butter after walking through the booths.

Sunday evening: Cake with Ice Cream and opening presents with the Schwartz clan

Oh, and Alyiah announced she is also going to be a BIG sister (Dec 11th-ish!)

Allie’s BIG gift was an upgraded bike. She went from a 12 incher to a whopping 18 incher!

Now she can keep up with all the kids in the neighborhood… even all the boys.

In primary on Mother’s day, the young women were in charge so all the ladies could go to relief society. Here is the card that that Allie brought home to me. It was a fill-in the blank and still makes me laugh!

The ‘Snap ‘n Style’ Dolls Allie got for Christmas a few years back are still some of the most played with toys. Kylie has re-discovered them lately.

How would be to sleep like a kid again?

1 Today was lovely, tomorrow will be hotter, but the next day it will snow…really???

Kylie is so skinny she has a hard time keeping her pants up.

The evening was so nice, the whole family got into cleaning out the flower beds. My belly felt so big bending over and I got terrible heartburn.

Although the temperatures have been fluctuating, we’ve been loving the spring weather.

0 Picnics & Parks

One of the best benefits that comes with cutting back my work hours, is the flexible lunch time. With the warm weather we’ve visits many parks and picnicked plenty.

I’m finding it harder and harder to get pictures of Allie. I think I’m going to have to put more effort into getting shots of her. Have you notice Kylie’s hair in all the recent pictures? She always asks for the same ‘do’…a headband-braid. She love having it in, but cries every time I start braiding. Silly girl.

Oh, and here’s a pic of my belly last week (end of 2nd trimester…only 3 months to go!).

1 Pet-sitter for Hire

Last weekend Allie was asked to feed the neighbors fish while they went on vacation.  She was very responsible and made sure I didn’t forget.  She even insisted that Kylie get to help, so she wouldn’t feel left out. 

Allie is planning on how to spend her $2.  I think she’s going to buy a book with the book order that came the next school day.

0 Almost spring

At the first of the month, we had a few days that were warm enough to forgo the hats, gloves, and snowpants.  The girls reveled in using the chalk the Easter Bunny brought them.

 

by the end of the week we dropped down to sweaters and even had a picnic in our front yard.

…and broke out the popsicles!
