Why do I Blog?

Life is so fast & furious with 3 young children, working from home, ect that I fear I will forget the lovely details of my girls' precious childhood.

My main motivation for blogging is to capture the every day moments...so I don't forget them before I have a chance to scrapbook. Sharing with you is just an added bonus. Keeping this blog has helped me get the photos off my camera's memory card and label/organize them on my laptop. It is the BEST tool I have for scrapbooking. I haven't ever been able to keep a journal, but this I can do. I don't pretend to have anything interesting to say. In fact I'm sure this little blog is boring to you, but to me it is priceless!

5 Sick Day

The girls have had minor colds (cough, runny noses) for a few days, but today was much worse for Allie. She's been all tears since 6am, but is finally asleep for a bit. Nate was planning on taking her with him on errands this morning so I could catch up on some work, but those plans were postponed when she threw up...in my hands. That's what mommies do; they try to save the furniture. LOL Joking aside, the poor kid was so sad to miss out. New plan: I take today off & she goes with daddy tomorrow. (look MOM, I spelled it right ;)

UPDATE: Allie took a good 2 hour nap & woke us at noon like her normal self. She still had a minor cough, but that's it. Amazing how fast they recover!

Oh, I just have to SCREAM out loud: "HURRAY". Maren & Grandpa made our scrapbook retreat reservations this morning!!!!!!!!! Yeah, I can hardly wait. A 3-day weekend in Bear Lake with just us women. Its great to have it booked.

This shot of us sisters was taken at last year's retreat. Yeah!

Well, I'm feeling absolutly terrible! I have a feeling I know where she got that bug from! I'm so, so, sorry! I hope she feels better soon! Maybe we can walk someday before the weather gets too bad. Hopefully all of our kids will be healthy soon!

Hayley- Don't feel bad. I don't think Allie has a stomach bug. I think she wasn't feeling well, but got herself so worked up that the crying & coughing caused the throw-up. Even if she did get it from Ady, that's life. Kids might not know how to share toys, but germs are another matter.
