Why do I Blog?

Life is so fast & furious with 3 young children, working from home, ect that I fear I will forget the lovely details of my girls' precious childhood.

My main motivation for blogging is to capture the every day moments...so I don't forget them before I have a chance to scrapbook. Sharing with you is just an added bonus. Keeping this blog has helped me get the photos off my camera's memory card and label/organize them on my laptop. It is the BEST tool I have for scrapbooking. I haven't ever been able to keep a journal, but this I can do. I don't pretend to have anything interesting to say. In fact I'm sure this little blog is boring to you, but to me it is priceless!

4 Fun with Beattie cousins

Last weekend we went to Clearfield/Layton. Nate attended at meeting with his brother Troy for their upcoming Mexico trip & I took the girls to play with the cousins. Abby & I loaded all 4 car seats in my TrailBlazer & went to a local park.

In the back Allie (2) is on the left & Abby's oldest, Laura (3), is on the right. In the middle bench Kylie is on the left & Abby's second, Eden (1), is on the right.

When we got to the park, Laura had "pee-pees", so Abby took her to the bathroom at the grocery store around the corner. While they were gone Allie & Eden played so cute. When Allie saw Laura coming back she started running towards her. It was like one of those romantic beach scenes in the movies. They ran towards each other, arms out. They met in the middle in a big hug & walked back to the slide hand-in-hand. What cute cousins!

Crazy as we are, we even took all the girls to a scrapbook store! The girls were all really well behaved, but VERY tired & hungry when we went back to Abby's house at 1pm. Then tragedy struck! Abby's husband, Brent, had gone on a mountain bike ride & locked us out of their new house! Luckily we finally got a hold of him on the cell phone. We grabbed takeout & met him back at the house. Close call, tragedy avoided. It was a fun visit, but as always went way to fast. I'm so glad that the Beatties live close enough to do it again in a few weeks.
