Why do I Blog?

Life is so fast & furious with 3 young children, working from home, ect that I fear I will forget the lovely details of my girls' precious childhood.

My main motivation for blogging is to capture the every day moments...so I don't forget them before I have a chance to scrapbook. Sharing with you is just an added bonus. Keeping this blog has helped me get the photos off my camera's memory card and label/organize them on my laptop. It is the BEST tool I have for scrapbooking. I haven't ever been able to keep a journal, but this I can do. I don't pretend to have anything interesting to say. In fact I'm sure this little blog is boring to you, but to me it is priceless!

4 Book Report

If you would like to borrow any of the following, I now own them all.

2 weeks ago:

Impossible

by Nancy Werlin (B+)

This was a fairy tale in the old sense, where not everything that is magic is nice and sweet. I bought it at the bookstore since I couldn’t wait till my online ordered books (see below) were delivered. When the urge to binge read comes, I must have my drug.

Last Week :

Conspiracy of KingsA Conspiracy of Kings

by Megan Turner (A-)

This is the 4th book in a series of potentially 6. I read the first 3 a few months ago after my sisters and mother suggested them. This one just came out this month, too. They are really good books, although they do start off slow. Give them a chance!

The Thief Queen of Attolia King of Attolia

This Week:

The Girl Who Chased the Moon

by Sarah Addison Allen (A)

This is Sarah’s third book and it just came out this month. I loved her fairy tail, magical first two books ‘Garden Spells’ & ‘The Sugar Queen’ and have been waiting for this one. They are really quick reads that are fun.

Next week:

Uglies, Pretties, & Specials

by Scott Westerfeld

I’ve been looking at this series for a long time and finally ordered it. It should come any day now. I know there is a 4th book (Specials) that I guess I’ll have to get next, too. Have you read them?

I have these, I wish you wouldn't have bought them! I would have been happy to lend them for you!

I want to read the garden fairies and sugar queens books. May I?

Come on over. (Oh, I don't have Sugar Queen, but I have her other two)

Yes, I want to read the Sarah Allen books, I'll try to get them from our library. Have you read Fablehaven yet?

Fablehaven and the Percy Jackson series are on my list with about 20 other individual books. Of course our library is worthless, so I have to pace my book buying. It is too easy to get out of control.
