Why do I Blog?

Life is so fast & furious with 3 young children, working from home, ect that I fear I will forget the lovely details of my girls' precious childhood.

My main motivation for blogging is to capture the every day moments...so I don't forget them before I have a chance to scrapbook. Sharing with you is just an added bonus. Keeping this blog has helped me get the photos off my camera's memory card and label/organize them on my laptop. It is the BEST tool I have for scrapbooking. I haven't ever been able to keep a journal, but this I can do. I don't pretend to have anything interesting to say. In fact I'm sure this little blog is boring to you, but to me it is priceless!

1 Amalga Garden planted

This year my BIG experiment is a HUGE garden.

Nate's Dad built this shop/shed last year and now the sprinkler wheel line can't get to this strip of land next to the gravel driveway. My sister-in-law Maho and I split it in half and are trying out our green thumbs.

I planted 3 rows of corn, 40 tomatoes, various squashes, potatoes, carrots, and onions. Everything is in now and looking green. We are still watching for the little zucchini, watermelon cantaloupe, cucumbers, and other squashes to show their little selves but the rest are thriving...except for the carrots. I think was only have a dozen carrots in the 10 feet I planted. Oh well.

Holy cow, that was a streak of posts! Did you do anything else today? I loved looking at all the pictures, even though I talk to you almost daily I still feel like I miss out on the day to day. Your garden looks HUGE! and camping looks awesome, just wish we had a trailer to sleep in. Kylie is getting so big and would you picasa me the pictures from Memorial Day weekend? Wow, now i have to get in gear and post.
