Why do I Blog?

Life is so fast & furious with 3 young children, working from home, ect that I fear I will forget the lovely details of my girls' precious childhood.

My main motivation for blogging is to capture the every day moments...so I don't forget them before I have a chance to scrapbook. Sharing with you is just an added bonus. Keeping this blog has helped me get the photos off my camera's memory card and label/organize them on my laptop. It is the BEST tool I have for scrapbooking. I haven't ever been able to keep a journal, but this I can do. I don't pretend to have anything interesting to say. In fact I'm sure this little blog is boring to you, but to me it is priceless!

2 Preschool Colors

Allie was so excited to show me what she learned in preschool today. She told me that you can certain colors mix playdough to make new colors. "ALL THE COLORS TOGETHER MAKE BLACK!" She even had to tell Grandma Martha all about it on the phone.

The timing of BillyeSue's lesson was perfect. For the past week Allie has been changing the color of the water in her bathtub with Strawberry Shortcake fizzy tablets placed in the strawberry wand. Each night she gets two tablets and we've been watching them interact magically in the tub.

While we were on the color kick we even broke out the finger paints. All though fun, the colors weren't as good as the dough at mixing and most of the combinations came out muddy brown. Oh well, getting messy is always fun.

I didn't realize that you could actually change the colors of playdough by mixing them, mine always just make a rainbow effect. We'll have to try that!
