Why do I Blog?

Life is so fast & furious with 3 young children, working from home, ect that I fear I will forget the lovely details of my girls' precious childhood.

My main motivation for blogging is to capture the every day moments...so I don't forget them before I have a chance to scrapbook. Sharing with you is just an added bonus. Keeping this blog has helped me get the photos off my camera's memory card and label/organize them on my laptop. It is the BEST tool I have for scrapbooking. I haven't ever been able to keep a journal, but this I can do. I don't pretend to have anything interesting to say. In fact I'm sure this little blog is boring to you, but to me it is priceless!

3 a SAD day

This past week Allie cycled between being a hot limp noodle and a medication induced energy ball. Every time her temperature came down she wanted to ride her bike and play with friends. I repeatedly explained that even if she was feeling better for a minute, she was still sick. Sure enough, as the medication wore off, her energy would melt away.

Then, in the middle of the week I discovered Allie's bike across the street, on the sidewalk, SMASHED! I know I put the bike in the garage the night before when Allie wanted to ride it and we hadn't been outside all day. How sad! THANK GOODNESS there wasn't a kid on it when it got hit. Allie's first reaction was that daddy could fix it, but the back wheel is beyond repair. We are greatfull that Hanne offered to let Allie use Lexi's old bike until we get Allie a replacement.

note: yesterday I found Allie had not only put her loner bike away in our garage, but another one too. Sorry Addy.

Did someone steal it from your garage then? That is crazy!

Steal is a strong word. We live on a great street/cul-de-sac we LOTS of kids. I'm sure that a neighbor kid 'borrowed' it since the garage door was up. Allie has lots of little friends are they all have little bikes they ride around together. I'm sure that Allie has jumped on all their bikes too.

I get it now! I was picturing a bad man coming into the garage to take it for a ride!
