Why do I Blog?

Life is so fast & furious with 3 young children, working from home, ect that I fear I will forget the lovely details of my girls' precious childhood.

My main motivation for blogging is to capture the every day moments...so I don't forget them before I have a chance to scrapbook. Sharing with you is just an added bonus. Keeping this blog has helped me get the photos off my camera's memory card and label/organize them on my laptop. It is the BEST tool I have for scrapbooking. I haven't ever been able to keep a journal, but this I can do. I don't pretend to have anything interesting to say. In fact I'm sure this little blog is boring to you, but to me it is priceless!

3 Twilight Feedback, please

Last night Aunt Rosie asked be why I like the Twilight books so much.
She said she'd looked at them but didn't think she could get into them.

So I am asking you why you like the Twilight Saga!
PLEASE leave me comments!!!

Here's what I've come up with so far:

As you all know, I am a binge reader & love to read just for the sake of reading, but I didn't read these books till long after the bandwagon was loaded. I really didn't think I could get into books about vampires (I tried a different vampire series years ago), so I kept putting them off myself. When I finally gave in & started reading I found that Stephanie hooked me with her well writing characters. Somehow the vampire stuff didn't seem that far fetched (LOL) in the first book. I will say that in the second & third books, New Moon & Eclipse, the fantasy aspect did get a bit more outlandish, but by then I captured by the characters & their relationships. I know that some of you did not enjoy Bella's struggle to choice between Edward & Jacob in the Eclipse, but I really related. So, I have to say that it is the characters that I love so much in this saga.

What about you?

I also love the characters but the best part about them is how relatable they are! I think we all identify with Bella, her clumsiness, and her feelings on inadequecy. You know how when you get married and your love life is predictable it's really fun to talk to your unattached friends who are with different people every few weeks and trying to figure out if they like each other, etc. It always makes me feel like I get a little drama in my life without actually having to deal with the consequences. That is how I feel about Twilight. You get to experience the crazy rush of first love and despair and everything else while being very comfortable in your own life.
