Why do I Blog?

Life is so fast & furious with 3 young children, working from home, ect that I fear I will forget the lovely details of my girls' precious childhood.

My main motivation for blogging is to capture the every day moments...so I don't forget them before I have a chance to scrapbook. Sharing with you is just an added bonus. Keeping this blog has helped me get the photos off my camera's memory card and label/organize them on my laptop. It is the BEST tool I have for scrapbooking. I haven't ever been able to keep a journal, but this I can do. I don't pretend to have anything interesting to say. In fact I'm sure this little blog is boring to you, but to me it is priceless!

7 My first attempt at Photoshop

My wonderful parents brought an old copy of Photoshop Elements 2.0 when they came for Kylie's blessing Sunday. I loaded it on my laptop & just got a second to play with it. I have been inspired by my sister Ellen. Check out her blog (link at the left).

This is my first attempt. I'm not sure I like it, but I can see how to do things. I hope I get some more time to play later.

P.S. I took the photo of Kylie today.

Sarah! You're my inspiration! So cute, good job. So So great. I'm still typing up instructions of a few things i did. I am completely impressed. I guess it doesn't hurt to have a beautiful subject to work with. Kylie is so adorable. Miss you all.

p.s.- Sare, now we need to get together and have a photoshop jam session sharing tips and tricks. When you coming to Rexburg next? I'll be off school soon and may have some time for a Utah trip to see you are Abby, and perhaps hit the stores. : )

NOT FAIR. YOU TWO QUIT MAKING PHOTOSHOP LOOK EASY. I TOOK CLASSES REMEMBER. IT IS HARD. I STILL AM NOT SURE HOW TO GET A PIC TO WORK ON. IT IS NOT NICE TO MAKE YOUR MOM LOOK STUPID, ESPECIALLY WHEN SHE WAS THE ONE THAT GAVE YOU THE PROGRAM. SO STOP IT RIGHT NOW. I MEAN IT. STOP. OH, GO AHEAD, BUT SHOW ME HOW. I MEAN IT.....mom
