Why do I Blog?

Life is so fast & furious with 3 young children, working from home, ect that I fear I will forget the lovely details of my girls' precious childhood.

My main motivation for blogging is to capture the every day moments...so I don't forget them before I have a chance to scrapbook. Sharing with you is just an added bonus. Keeping this blog has helped me get the photos off my camera's memory card and label/organize them on my laptop. It is the BEST tool I have for scrapbooking. I haven't ever been able to keep a journal, but this I can do. I don't pretend to have anything interesting to say. In fact I'm sure this little blog is boring to you, but to me it is priceless!

5 a Train Wreck in My Body

Well, that pesky stomach fly bug, that kept Maren from delivering Allie, hitched a ride to Smithfield regardless. Nearly every member of our extended family has had a run in with this bug and/or its friend the upper respiratory bug. Although the stomach flu seems to only last about 24-36 hours, it is NASTY! I felt like a train had run over me. What a condition to start adjusting to being the mother of two. Allie was a little less than understanding. Thank goodness I feel better today. I hope nobody else has to contend with this ugly bug.

This photo was taked pre-stomache flu.

This is my first trip out with both girls. We went to the post office to buy stamps. It was a quick trip, but they were good girls.

Here is Allie reading her beloved Curious George books.

Hey Sare, I am the newest casualty.

I didn't know that you had caught it. I guess Allie transported it to you. Sorry, it really is the worst, urg.

I'm sorry you got it. It really is awful. But at least it doesn't last long. Are you better?

Thanks Maren! The worst part about having a baby MUST be the postpartum body. Yes, it is worth it...but sometimes ya wonder.
